Project STAIR

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Project STAIR is a resource for teachers and parents who are looking for help in teaching their students math.

Project STAIR is a research project collaboration between the University of Missouri, Southern Methodist University, and the University of Texas at Austin. The goal of the project is to provide tools and strategies to help teach students a variety of math topics – everything from lattice multiplication to solving equations.

These videos provide research-based techniques and strategies that are easy to transfer to the classroom and include in a lesson the next day. Whether there is a topic that one individual student seems to be struggling with, or if there is one lesson that the whole class did not understand, and you want to see an alternate way of teaching that concept, Project STAIR is designed to be quick, powerful, and helpful in preparing new and veteran teachers alike to teach mathematics.
