This resource provides strategies for building math literacy for students who are blind or visually impaired, many of which can be adapted for remote learning and/or shared with families. Mathematical literacy includes numeracy, a basic number sense and a grasp of simple mathematical concepts – all concepts that blind or visually impaired students do not have the same exposure to as their sighted peers.
