This case study describes the perspective of Miami Lighthouse Academy, LLC as they look back on a year of distance learning with young learners who are blind or visually impaired. Liana De Angelis, Ed. D., the director of the school, reflects on her experience and specific school-wide strategies, as well as lessons the staff learned along their journey to best facilitate students and parents during this time of distance learning.
