In this webinar, presenters from Digital Promise’s Learner Variability Project (LVP) and the National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) will discuss the research-based, whole child framework necessary to support early literacy. This means understanding how to support children’s cognition and social-emotional abilities, as well as considering other factors that impact each student’s learning and development, while building the skills they need to succeed at reading. We will both showcase free user-friendly tools for parents and educators that will help them understand where their children need greater support and offer links to research-based strategies to use.
